Rotary shoe adopts carbide material inside the cylinder to circumferentially cut irregular fish top, and gradually repair the damaged fish top into a circle, such as tubing, casing body, etc.
[Note: Because the inner milling tooth diameter of rotart shoe is large, the reverse torque is large, so low pressure and slow rotation mode should be adopted in the use of rotary shoe. In general, the drilling pressure should not exceed 10 KN and the rotational speed should not exceed 50 r/min.]

Taper mill reams out restrictions,collapsed casing and liner sections and deburr whipstock windows and casing.The low end of taper mill,with its small,diameter enters the collapsed casing and liner.Then slightly spiraled reamer edges to mill away the under section to full mill diameter.
Taper mill consists of a conical body and tungsten carbide. The taper of the body is 30 degrees, the cone is wing-shaped, and the surface is hardfacing or inlaying tungsten carbide.

Watermelon string shoe is one of the milling tools in sidetracking operation. It is used for repairing casing, reaming and opening channels. It is usually used immediately after opening windows. The milling edge (working area) of the watermelon mill contacts the borehole wall, and the end of each edge is designed as a cone. When the window is being opened, the watermelon mill can lengthen the window from the top and remove the scaling and burrs left on the pipe wall during the initial cutting.
