"HSVP is a high-speed mud pulser developed by China Oilfield Service after many years of technical research. It has more than 20 invention patents authorized. It can realize adaptive, multi-mode, high-precision real-time data transmission, and can decode mud pulse signals transmitted underground in real time, with a maximum transmission rate of 20 bits/SEC." The technical director said.

HSVP is a transmission device that realizes real-time communication between downhole LWD instruments and rotary steerable tools in a system called "Xuanji" and the surface software system, so that mud pulse signals are decoded in real time during operation. which is 24 times the transmission rate of ordinary pulsers, which is equivalent to the communication industry entering the 5G era from the traditional 2G signal. It can realize the purpose of obtaining LWD data quickly, provide a reliable basis for customers to make timely decisions, and effectively improve the real-time data resolution and drilling time.

"Up to now, HSVP has been applied to 100 Wells in China's offshore and onshore oil fields, and the total footage has exceeded 90,000 meters." The person in charge of the transformation of technological achievements said.
